V&A Waterfront | Watershed - Branding Refinement

The V&A Waterfront is an iconic mixed-use destination located in the oldest working harbour in the Southern Hemisphere. The Watershed is a building within the V&A which hosts a beautiful and vibrant space where over 150 tenants sell unique products and arts and crafts.

The original design concept, colours and logo redesign were created by Riaan Bernhardt and this work was created under The Nimble Studio.
This project is the refining of the Watershed's personal brand, here I outlined elements to be used in rollout and communication. The colours used are within the V&A palette but sticking to the primary colours to symbolise the basic building blocks of arts and craft. The textures denote to the products sold here where crafters use all sorts of materials to create their unique hands-on goods. The iconography is also a representation of basic building blocks as well as unique South African elements and bringing it all together with photo treatment of lively and creative compositions that showcase the tenants in a world of imagination.
